I have spent the last 25 years working in the Aluminium Window & Door Industry. Beginning at Bradnams Windows as a residential sales rep in 1999. Since then I have completed roles in commercial sales, commercial project management and until June 2018 I was country manager for Reynaers Aluminum - Australia & New Zealand markets, then general manager of Aluminium Design And Managenent (A.D.A.M) a business I started in my sons name. I lost Adam in an accident on the 16.06.2016, 12 days after I registered the business for him . He was killed as a pedestrian by a speeding P Plater at a crossing while walking to meet a friend to go to footy training....... I was in Perth on a business trip when it happened. Worst night of my life by a long way. Cannot ever be prepared or ready for the loss of a child. The loss is immense. The shock, the heavy heart and the empty pit in your stomach never goes, it just differs in severity. Every day is a struggle and I will never be ok I guess, but I try to stay positive and tackle life the way Adam did....... 😇
