Upon graduation with a degree in biochemistry from university, I have set out to learn the various opportunities and perspectives in the biotech/ pharma space. In my short span of a professional career I have held a position as a junior researcher in academia seeking to develop novel checkpoint inhibitor therapies, as a regulatory affairs intern aiding in the launch of commercial vaccine, and as a clinical trials assistant working with a lung cancer treatment in phase I trial. While I am still young, my intent is to gain a broad understanding of the industry which will serve me as I advance into the niche role of my choosing. In the future, I see myself as a liaison between research groups and the operational groups in the oncolytic-biotechnology field. I look forward to gaining knowledge and new insights every day.On another note, I enjoy simple things but am not limited to one area of interest. Whether it's backpacking the Havasupi Falls trail in Arizona, spending time brewing a Bavarian Pilsner, or playing men's club rugby I have no shortage of enjoyment into all life has to offer.
