Shortly after my move to Chicago, Donermen was kind enough to offer me a position as Food Truck Manager. In this role I quickly became familiar with the city as well as its residents. I have received numerous accolades from coworkers as well as community members for our prompt service times and quality of product, most notably being voted best food truck of Chicago by the Chicago Reader.

Antarctica

This was my second deployment to Antarctica. Due to restrictions caused by the pandemic, I became the sole Food Clerk for the United States Antarctic Program. My daily responsibilities included inventory management as well as processing incoming food requests. In addition, our team was also responsible for configuring the servers and wireless communications necessary to automatically back up the recorded data.While on-site, office personal would often task us with other IT troubleshooting problems. Under the guidance of our Chief Steward, we we're responsible for the food services of the F/T Northern Jaeger's 150 onboard residents. Working on the F/T Northern Jaeger taught me a lot about food operations management, as well as the everyday challenges of living at-sea.
