I have over 10 years of experience as a middle school science educator. I can teach all areas of science (earth/life/human biology/chemistry/physics/astronomy etc) to this age group. I flip my classroom, create my own educational videos that students watch at home, and during class I engage my students in creative, fun and rewarding activities, projects and labs. I have a passion for Lego Robotics and have built the Indy Sumo Bot League. 5 schools across NY and CT compete three times a year in a fun and creative competition where they design robots that battle each other on a pre-built battle table. My other passion is the arts. I have written and directed full length plays and shorter skits, all involving children. I love a challenge, whether it is teaching a new content area, organizing a new activity, solving a complex problem or helping a student who needs it.
