As Operations & Sustainability Director I will be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing the organization’s systems, and helping to create program efficiency. As a member of the Management Team my position's primary responsibility is to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for Camp’s daily operations. The position also contributes to the development and implementation of performance strategies, systems, policies and practices, and sustainability initiatives.

· Manage and lead training for staff, leadership, and campers in all aspects of outdoor living, back country skills, leave no trace principles, and risk management · Collaborate and develop with a team of 7 other outdoor educators to improve instruction and add new routes and destinations to tripping program· Collaborate with leadership and staff to execute over 50 successful departures getting 600 girls into the woods over the course of the summer· Facilitate high and low challenge course elements with focus on outdoor education,team building and character development · Brief staff and leaders on all transportation scheduling logistics and implementation of camper medication while in the back country, if applicable · Organize and inventory all gear pre and post trips to ensure functionality and safety requirements are met· Manage debriefing with all involved leadership and staff to ensure feedback is taken and change is implemented where necessary

· Monthly top producer on the sales team more than 90% of the time · Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to clients for group trips to over a hundred countries. · Display dependable internal communication and assistance to co-workers· Core understanding and embodiment of Intrepid’s grass roots responsible travel philosophy.· Strong relationship building skills with many returning clients
