CurrentAs managing partner, Mr. Lippe works with clients at various levels in their organizations (including senior executives and boards of directors) to help everyone understand the ever changing and very dynamic characteristics of petroleum product markets within North America and throughout the world.The firm provides a variety of retainer consulting services to support internal planning efforts both long term and short term, strategic and tactical. These services include short term & long term market & budget planning support via ongoing market analysis and price forecast retainer consulting services for natural gas, crude oil & refined products, natural gas liquids and other petrochemical feeds, and primary petrochemicals including ethylene, propylene, butadiene, benzene, toluene, and xylenes. In support of ongoing forecast services, Petral Consulting Company also conducts a monthly survey of ethylene plant operations and feedstock consumption.Mr. Lippe also prepares proprietary studies on a wide variety of topics involving the full range of natural gas & petroleum products. The geographic scope of these studies range from a few railroad districts (e.g. analysis of NGL markets in Eagle Ford) to global propane and butane markets. Additionally, Dan conducts educational seminars for people who are new to midstream or the petrochemical industry. The midstream industry educational seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the industry's physical assets (plants & pipelines), end use markets (petrochemicals, refining, and retail marketing), supply sources, economic influences and pricing. The petrochemical industry seminar has a similar scope and content with special emphasis on olefins plants in the U.S. Gulf Coast. This seminar provides an overview of the products derived from the industry primary olefins (ethylene, propylene, butadiene) and aromatics (benzene, toluene, xylene).
