I was accountable for the daily branch operations which included sales, marketing, budgets, expense control, hiring, performance reviews, facilities management, compliance and management reporting for this multi-national wholesale trade supplier. I led a team of internal and external sales staff in the Albury/Wodonga area and I worked closely with regional and senior management throughout my time at Konnect Artia with my involvement in the groups Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP).I joined Coventry Group in a difficult period and faced many challenges due to major restructuring, high staff turnover within the organisation and frequent management changes. This presented many logistical and operational challenges to the group which were addressed through a process of Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP). Personal successes included the development of a staff rostering application that was rolled out across the group to assist in identifying through an analytical approach to task allocation, the efficient use of resources at the branch level. I was commended by regional and senior leadership for this work and it was rolled out across the CGL branch network. I was also involved in the design and specification of reporting automation for manual branch checklists through the use of database querries and automated business intelligence and analytics to remove or heavily reduce the burden of manual reporting for front line staff.

Technologies Developed:MoRS (Mobile Revolutionary Session client) 2006 - VoIP solution for Windows Mobile & Symbian/Nokia (pre iPhone & Android) that automatically detected data network availability & switched the call from digital to IP and provided low cost calling through 3G or Wi-Fi.Adjurra 2008 - coming from years of providing Facilities Maintenance services in a trade industry I believed there was a better way to undertake the record keeping invloved in Facilities and Asset management. Our team developed a GPS enabled RFID based record management system utilising ruggedised Windows mobile RFID scanners & RFID tokens that were attached to assets under management with a GIS & web management interface.Prototype converged IPTV solution 2008 - using voice & video over IP, integrated with MoRS platfrom.Achievements & Awards:Successfully awarded $80,000 grant through Deptartment of Industry COMET Program for the MoRS software.Australia's 1st city wide Wi-Fi Mesh - rolled out city wide Wi-Fi mesh network across Tallangatta using Belair Networks range of award winning Wi-Fi mesh nodes, system was part of an initiative to improve regional telecommunication in Towong Shire.Research Projects - involved in the development of fire (smoke) sensing CCTV camera trial at Tallangatta utilising Wi-Fi mesh & IP CCTV camera. Developed a pixel comparison algorithym that could identify changes in the underlying image being recorded & created alerts around set parrameters. System was tested & proved to work over a distance of 2kms.
