I’m Daniel. I’ve been in the retail business for almost 20 years of my life. I have seen significant growth in the business and have been apart of that growth. The evolution of retail is an amazing experience and I’m proud to be apart of it even in a small role. I’m a leader and teacher at heart. I learn a process and teach and train my teams to be successful in executing the process which will drive sales and engagement and most importantly take care of our customers. No frills taught me the basics of retail and how to deliver in this business. Walmart helped me perfect my craft and continue to build each day. No matter what team is put in front of me I take each day as it comes and win with my teams.I’ve held many positions over the years from part time stocker all the way to an assistant who is leaned on to help support the business at a high level capacity. I have had the pleasure to run the pantry dept as a dept manager, I was a backroom manager. I have been an assistant manager for approximately the last 7years roughly. I have had the privilege to run the overnight team 4 different times in 4 different stores. I have ran the fashion area on several occasions. I’ve ran homelines and hardlines depts and I have also ran our fresh depts in a couple of stores. And currently the CAP 1 manager. In almost 14 years at Walmart I’ve had the privilege to work in 8 different stores and helped in many others and all a great experience.I enjoy going into work each day and working side by side with a great team and continuous improvement and learning is what helps us achieve our success.Hope this has been a little insight to the kind of leader I am and strive to continue to be in the future. The sky is truly the limit in retail industry and we are always delivering for our customers each day and try to exceed there expectations.
