Whilst working at Synergy Health I adapted all the email communications into a high quality 2 page newsletter, produced every month with a readership of 4000+ customers. I also managed 2 other business newsletters that were implemented as a result of the work I have done for AST. ater I took the newsletter to the next level and created a fully interactive HTML email newsletter, this created greater engagement with customers.Another big part of the role is the design and distribution of literature. When I started working at Synergy all design was outsourced to design agencies, but I taught myself how to use Adobe products i.e. Indesign, Photoshop etc so that I could help the business save money by producing most of the literature, adverts, banners and invitations in-house.I managed the main Synergy Health AST website, the SHPL microsite and the SEO and Adwords accounts for both, managing to get the majority of our web pages for services to appear on the first page of search engines. This experience was invaluable as I was able to use what I had learnt to help write the content for the new microsite that was launched, ensuring that all SEO criteria was met, giving the site the best chance of climbing the rankings after its launch.My time at AST- a division of Synergy Health plc, has allowed me to develop my skill whilst also providing me with a solid foundation and understanding of marketing communications used effectively in business.

Since working at Synergy Health my role as a Marketing Communications Associate has helped me develop in a range of skills due to the diverse nature of daily tasks performed.My experience in designing promotional material and external communications material has reached a very high level after designing this years company training brochure, and implimenting a monthly newsletter that I also produce.
