I am an experienced Visual and UX designer with a background in photography and video production. I enjoy working on creative marketing projects and can deliver work from concept to completion. I believe in creating work that is visually interesting across multiple mediums to help tell brand, product, and personal stories.For much of my career I worked in photography, shooting freelance, working in a commercial studio, and for a prominent camera retailer. I found that I loved design and the problem solving aspects of photography helping clients find solutions. I decided to go back to school for UX design and research to help cement my visual and user experience design skills. Since then I've done freelance design work as well as having worked as a contract UX designer at SHURE inc. and full time as a UX designer at Yeti Society Creative Agency. I am skilled at interaction design in a variety of mediums and love understanding how people use software and figuring out complex user flows. As well as my skills in UX design, I am experienced in visual design and have done work creating UI assets, web design, various print pieces, wayfinding signage for events, icon sets, logos and more.I have a portfolio of commercial and student work that showcases my ability to bring all the elements of Visual Design, Web Design, User Experience, UX Research, Copywriting, and Web Marketing together into a coherent whole.
