I completed a 6 month project management internship in Compact Cars Localisation, where I supported the R&D team in their role in the local component sourcing process for the next generation of compact cars to be built in Mexico under the Daimler-Nissan joint venture.In addition I supported the hardware phase of a localisation project in China, where I was given the responsibility to independently organise and deliver my own project to the localisation team. Whilst working on site in Germany, I also had the chance to develop my German language skills to a near fluent proficiency.

Tasks I completed during my time at River Sands include pipe flow testing on sand plants and associated pumping stations to analyse losses and wastes in the system, analysing production data from the dredging operation right through to the sand plant output, and completing a design & budget for a liquid oxide storage shed.
