After graduating with my Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Southern Queensland, I have explored many different avenues of nursing in my career. From working as a Rural and Remote Registered Nurse in many different role titles such as Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Director of Nursing to working as a Surgical Nurse and After Hours/Bed manager, I have enjoyed and learnt so many valuable experiences from each position and the challenges they all encounter.I have worked in many different types of settings and environments, both in the public and private sectors and I understand the challenges that both industries face. I enjoy the challenge of striving towards both personal and business KPIs both as a clinician and manager, and I am always looking for the next challenge to continue growing as a leader and person.I feel that I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic, down-to-earth person who thrives in an environment that challenges and motivates me. I enjoy the thrill of teaching someone in a preceptorship role and giving back in any way I can. I feel that I am approachable to those who seek help and guidance, as I am a firm believer that no question is a stupid question when a common goal is focused towards excellent holistic, patient-centred care.I am always open to new challenges and offers.
