Daniel has worked for nearly 25 years in the areas of youth development, youth violence prevention and intervention, youth health promotion, trauma healing, restorative justice and school administration. Daniel has recently returned to his home state of Georgia and is currently a Restorative Practices Consultant with Restorative Athens, LLC and Executive Director at the Georgia Conflict Center, supporting the implementation of Restorative Practices in schools, school districts, communities, organizations and the criminal legal system. Before moving to Athens, he served for 1 year as Restorative Justice Coordinator and 3 years as Assistant Principal of Restorative Practices at E.L. Haynes Public Charter High School in Washington, D.C (2012-2016).
