The fellowship specialised in hip and knee joint replacement surgery, computer aided knee surgery and revision surgery, along with involvement in general orthopaedic trauma and multiple research studies. This was followed with visits to leading centres in the UK, the Netherlands and USA. Throughout recent years he has also attended courses in Austria, Ireland, the UK and Australia involving advanced hip and knee replacement techniques, sports injuries and trauma.Daniel has a special interest in direct anterior hip replacement, which he performs with computer navigation. He is involved in a national training course for the anterior approach, and has surgeons visit his practice to learn the technique.
