• Accurately moulded fiberglass hulls and parts according to engineering and manufacturing blueprints: stated weight requirements, build schedules, tolerances and other FRP specifications while conforming to all OHSA and manufacturing safety protocols.• Produced parts and products that conform to manufacturing quality standards in a timely manner.• Safe handling, storage and labeling of hazardous materials used or created by the manufacturing process.• Worked as a go-between for research and development personnel, manufacturing and design engineers to work out problems in new boats moulding processes and blueprints in the first P.B. builds and clear shots.• Trained new hires to follow the correct manufacturing processes and safety in FRP.• Trained several new hire engineers in the lamination bay.• Operated overhead cranes.• Maintenance, operation and cleaning of chop gun, resin/catalyst pumps, mould, cranes and all other tools and equipment needed to mould fiberglass boats.• Operated and maintained putty rigs and pumps.• Kept track of and filled out manufacturing hull records.• Kept track of inventory and ordered weekly supplies and PPE for the lamination bay.• Kept my work area cleaned, organized and free of clutter.• Ensured everyone on the team followed the proper safety protocols.
