www.mracllc.comDan received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University and is board certified in psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. In 1999 Dan joined the faculty at Yale University where he conducted several multi-site clinical trials in substance abuse treatment. Dan’s research interests include the effectiveness of different interviewing methodologies in eliciting information, and the behavioral and physiological cues to deception and malintent. Dan has served as experimental lead on several research studies investigating security screening and interviewing and is the Director of Research for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Advanced Screening Research program and the principal investigator for DHS’s APEX Air Entry/Exit Reengineering (AEER) Program. Dan has a private practice in West Hartford, CT where he provides professional therapy and consulting services. He has worked as a behavioral health consultant in the disability insurance industry for over 14 years. He also has over 15 years of experience training hundreds of individuals in motivational interviewing with resistant populations.
