Contracted by CPL to operate as a Grade V Staff Officer for a team of contact tracers (previous role) for the HSE Covid Management Programme (CMP) in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.• Lead start of shift huddles, briefing the team on the plan of action for the given working day, relaying instructions and guidelines from Operations Managers.• Supervising and spot-checking the work of the contact tracers on my team, ensuring that they follow GDPR, Public Health Guidelines and official Work Instructions. This also involved ensuring that the tracers met their productivity targets on a daily, weekly and monthly level.• Overseeing the administrative upkeep of the team’s rosters, workbooks, annual leave requests and their personal logs. This was achieved with the use of Microsoft Suite, notably Excel, Word, Outlook and OneDrive. This task required excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. • Conducting One-on-Ones, disciplinary and Performance Achievement meetings with team members when needed.• Supervision of multiple teams when required (generally when other Team Leaders were absent or on annual leave), carrying out all the tasks and duties listed above.• Co-ordinating with multiple key stakeholders on a daily basis. This list includes but is not limited to Operations Managers, General Managers, Clinical Leads, Specialist Complex and Investigative teams and HSE Public Health representatives. Tasks which involved working with these stakeholders includes escalating specialised cases, the smooth running of tracer teams, Public Health queries and cases which were non-compliant with Public Health guidance.• Aided the company Accenture tasked with the creating of the Covid-19 Recovery Certificates, by correlating and clarifying client/citizen info data from our Public Health CRM (Dynamics) and uploading this information to the Recovery Certificates CRM (Salesforce).

This was conducted in a calm, compassionate manner with excellent phone etiquette, dealing often with stressed or belligerent patients.• This role has been dynamic/diverse and is constantly adapting due to the changing nature of the pandemic.• I have developed good investigatory, office administration, problem-solving and communication skills in this role.• I was promoted to a Super-User position in July 2021, which translates as extra training in the use of data input system used by all contact tracers, the Covidtracker. Subsequently, I could provide extra assistance and followed up with staff members who required additional support and deliver pertinent information when holding Q&A sessions linked with contact tracing script/user manual updates.• I was assigned in a support/training capacity with the Defence Forces Joint Task Force (JTF) in the Cathal Brugha Barracks contact tracing centre. My role here was to train, support and manage on an operational level the contact tracing unit stationed here, which consisted of DF personnel. They were made operational at the onset of the Delta variant surge which commenced in mid- July 2021. I resumed normal Super-user duties in early September 2021. This opportunity utilised my leadership and instructional abilities, and improved them vastly.
