CurrentMy current role in the MPC Supply Chain organization involves working on freight carrier and logistic company contracts for utilization with the refining, pipeline and terminal organizations. I get involved in all types of transportation requests, which includes small parcel shipments, LTL, Truckload and expedite shipments. I am currently involved in a Managed Inbound Freight project for Supply Chain. The goal is to convert PrePay & Add freight opportunities to Collect and reduce freight expense to the company. This is going to be a huge project over the next several years due to the growth of MPC from 2018.I have work experience in the Procurement Card Program at MPC. I was involved with this program from 2007 thru March of 2019. I was involved in a formal bid of financial institutions in determining the bank to be used for the card program in 2011. I played a key role in the P-Card process for Concur Expense for the reconcilement of expenses with this cloud-based software. I was involved in the testing of the system for IT, along with a creation of rules to be used with the tool for Supply Chain and the company to be followed. When I left the P-Card program foe MPC, the monthly spend with this card program was averaging $1.5 million a month. From 2000 till 2007, I was the MPC Fleet Administrator within Supply Chain. At that time, I was the lead individual within Supply Chain that worked on the company vehicles, leased and owned. I worked with Wheels Inc. & PHH as the fleet management companies during this time frame. I believe there were over 2000 company vehicles in the program. I was doing this work as fleet administrator as well as working on transportation issues for Supply Chain.I have been an active member of MPC's Corp. Emergency Response Team (CERT) from 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit the US and into 2020 for the COVID19 event.
