I served just under 4 years as a United States Army Infantryman team leader. During that time, I served 2 combat deployments in Iraq and Kuwait.I've worked with multiple military vehicles, both tracked and wheeled as well as their weapon systems including 25mm Bushmaster, M2 50 caliber, M240B, M249 and small arms weapons such as the M14 and M4.After my ETS from the Army, I joined the Macon Police Department as a Patrol Officer where I transitioned to a Sheriff's Patrol Deputy with the Macon-Bibb County Sheriff's Office when the city and county law enforcement agencies merged. I served a total of 5 years with these agencies patrolling in high crime rate districts.I am currently serving my 5th year as a Sheriff's Patrol Deputy with the Houston County Sheriff's Office where I am a field training officer. I also work in conjuction with the Georgia State Patrol Aviation Division as a Tactical Flight Officer.
