I became interested in cybersecurity after listening to the news about data breaches and hacks; without knowing, I became more and more curious about the field, and I wanted to make a career change. I enrolled in a fast-paced cybersecurity certificate program at the University of Central Florida. I developed solid skills and knowledge around threat analysis, networking basics and security, and cloud computing. I'm learning from top-notch instructors and educating myself through different labs and real-world simulations.I'm currently a field service technician for a medical device company, where I work with a team of professionals in updating, performing preventive maintenance, and testing medical device software and hardware for optimal performance and safety, giving me some troubleshooting skills. I also finished a 6-year medical degree in Colombia, South America, where I gained experience in fast-paced environments, rapid decision-making, communication, adaptability, and the ability to work under stressful circumstances.I consider myself smart, curious, and always interested in learning something new every day in whatever topic I can. I also love to adapt to new environments and see what positive things I can bring to them in order to change them for the better.I'm eager to transfer my skills and combine them with my new technical education to support IT and cybersecurity specialists within the enterprise field. At the same time, I continue to grow and learn more about this exciting field, please, contact me to talk about how can I support your team.
