This is one of the few municipal archives in New England. It integrates archives and records management responsibilities as one division of the town clerk's office. In addition, the town's historical records are also maintained in this office. The office is open to the public Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and by appointment.

One of the most rewarding challenges a librarian could ever face. The Brockton Public Library is a great institution in a tough town. This institution brought needed services to a badly underserved population and the reference librarian met a wide variety of needs ranging from providing general information to social services.

Grant-funded position involving public relations for one of the nation's most prestigious private libraries. Secured local, regional and national media placements for organization's events and programs.

Performed a variety of support functions in the library of the nation's oldest state historical society.

Covered sports for a chain of local weekly newspapers around suburban Boston.

Reporter and editor for a daily newspaper serving a small city. In charge of covering local government and politics, writing editorials, filling in for editor-in-chief.

Reporter for a weekly newspaper south of Worcester, MA. Covered town government and features. Wrote editorials. Occasionally substituted for sports writers.

Reporter for a small daily in south-central New Hampshire, also covering stories in neighboring Vermont communities.
