As an aviation professional I have a keen interest in aircraft airworthiness, technical, safety and operational matters. I am skilled in many areas such as overhaul, aircraft maintenance, airline operations, flight safety, aircraft acquisition/ leasing and European/ US Air Law and regulations. I am a former Cadet with Aer Lingus and amongst the first class to receive an MPL(Multi-crew Pilot Licence). I obtained my MPL at FTE Jerez in Spain and completed my A320 type rating with Aer Lingus at Simtech in Dublin.Prior to this I had 8 years experience working within the airline maintenance industry in both a line and base maintenance environment. I hold an EASA Part 66 B1 and B2 licence and I have a B1/B2 type rating on the BAe 146/ Avro 146-RJ aircraft and on the Sukhoi Superjet SSJ 100 / RRJ 95
