• Served as the Performance Test and Deployment Lead for the Enable project under Transmission, Distribution, and Gas. The Enable project is a $450 million dollar project aimed at consolidating and enhancing IT systems and business processes in the work management and supply chain fields for the Legacy Duke and Legacy Progress companies. • Responsible for writing job postings, interviewing candidates, and hiring a team of 21 onshore and offshore resources to support performance testing and deployment.• Transitioned team from waterfall methodology to an agile approach to better meet project expectations.• Lead effort to performance test over 12 systems user interfaces, 116 integrations between systems, and network performance at remote sites.• Established contracts with external vendors for performance testing support.• Developed resource plans and forecasts for the duration of the project.• Planned logistics for Enable Dress Rehearsal and Cutover which consisted of 24/7 activities across 10 days requiring up to 300 resources to implement and test.• Lead communications of performance and deployment updates across large groups of business and technology stakeholders.• Planned and implemented the deployment approach which helped ensure the large-scale changes were implemented in a manner that had minimal business impact as well as mitigated IT deployment risk. • Worked with internal and external production support teams to ensure they were aware of all the changes to systems they supported and had the necessary skill sets and resources to support them post-deployment.

• Served as technical lead for the Asset Configuration Tracker (ACT) project. This project’s objective is to create a custom SharePoint tool that will help the business track any temporary or permanent configuration changes of our systems. The tool would make use of custom SharePoint workflows developed with C# and WCF Services, as well as various custom interfaces to data hubs. Played a pivotal role in meeting with the business to discuss requirements as well as turning those requirements in to high level designs and project estimates.• Served as technical lead for the eTRAC Merger Integration project. The primary objectives of this project were to move all applications to completely new infrastructure as well as merge existing Progress and Duke Energy EH&S processes. Helped to define project estimates and scope as well as serve as the main developer for the IT components of the project. • Designed and developed the ETL portion of the PMRS application using Informatica 9.1. This application allowed customers to create on-demand reports which would gather data from multiple sources, cleanse data, and perform business calculations that ultimately produced a report in an Excel spreadsheet.

IT - EH&S Applications• Developed in-house tools using C# and Java that helped extend functionality to business users while adhering to IT Security Audit’s standards and procedures.• Created and made enhanced SSAS data cubes, dashboards, and SSRS reports to support customers monitoring various eTRAC related data.Web Infrastructure Support• Developed an in-house tool using C# that would automatically create websites across all of our Enterprise shared servers. The tool would create the appropriate file shares and setup permissions on the folders/websites accordingly.• Routinely helped setup new web servers on IIS and WebSphere to host web applications.• Developed scripts that would help in monitor web servers and SFTP services and alert the support team when a process failed or if a web server’s applications were out of sync with our standard web server installation guidelines.IT - HR Applications• Created a custom HR Reporting Tool using SharePoint Designer that non-technical users in the HR department could easily use to aggregate data and generate reports off their various SharePoint project sites. • Developed custom SharePoint sites, workflows, and functions to support the business partner's needs.• Supported the HR Hub and Data Mart databases daily data refresh process by creating and testing various scheduled jobs and Informatica ETLs.

• Taught night courses for Business Intelligence and T-SQL using SQL Server 2012.• Worked with CPCC to help develop the course in terms of which text books to use and the subject matters that would be best suited for the students of the class.• Gave career advice to the students as well as reviewed resumes to assist them in finding jobs that matched their skill sets.• Covered subjects such as database design, TSQL syntax, query optimization, etc.
