Daniel McKenzie began his career analyzing the US Airline industry in 2000 as a member of Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) #2 Institutional Investor ranked airline team before being promoted to Sr. Analyst in 2003. In 2006, Mr. McKenzie accepted the Sr. Airline Analyst position at Credit Suisse where the Financial Times|StarMine ranked him as the #1 earnings forecaster for airline stocks in both 2008 and 2009. Following Credit Suisse, Mr. McKenzie joined Next Generation Equity Research, acquired in 2010 by Hudson Securities and then again in 2011 by Rodman & Renshaw. In 2012, McKenzie joined Buckingham Research where he was consistently ranked as one of the firm's top analysts. Bloomberg consistently ranks Mr. McKenzie as a top analyst for absolute and relative return rankings since 2009. And in 2011, Mr. McKenzie ranked #2 in the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” survey. Mr. McKenzie has also been called upon to testify as an industry expert for the UAL/Continental merger in front of the Senate Commerce Committee and separately, was 1 of 18 industry experts recently invited by the U.S. Department of Transportation to join the “Future Aviation Advisory Council,” a committee tasked with advising the Secretary of the DOT on public policy as it affects the US airline industry. Separately, Mr. McKenzie has hosted senior management teams from across the airline industry at Global Airline Conferences, has been an invited speaker to industry trade groups on airline industry-related topics, and has been cited by the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and local newspapers around the country.
