0331 Infantry Machine GunnerMy duties included protecting millions of dollars worth of sensitive government materials, protecting VIP's in foreign countries, and train Marines in Marine Corps Martial Arts. I was in charge of 8 other Marines and their well being while deployed to Afghanistan. I created and successfully executed security patrols throughout hostile environments. I was able to remain calm in stressful situations and was able to complete all tasks that were assigned. In my last 6 months in the MarinesI was sent to a camp maintenance unit where I was in charge of all maintaining the landscape around the regimental offices and ensuring the memorial gardens were in pristine condition at all times.
