Dan work's as a senior engineer for Electric Boat designing submarines for the US Navy. Before Dan's career at Electric Boat, he attended Clarkson University. During two summers, he interned at General Electric Global Research where he worked on a variety of projects providing mechanical engineering support for the RF and Photonics group After obtaining his Bachelors, Dan stayed and obtained his Master's in Mechanical Engineering. He researched the use of proper orthogonal decomposition as a method to create a thermal reduced order model for integrated circuit devices for use in electro-thermal modeling of circuits. Dan presented his research at the 14th IEEE InterSociety Conference on Thermal and Thermomechanical Phenomena in Electronic Systems (iTHERM). Furthermore, Dan is published in the International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering (doi: 10.1002/nme.5529).
