This role is about supporting Equinix customers - Working with multiple stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of data centre deployments & related services into various sites and delivering continued support through the customers life cycle, including on-boarding, service reviews, education on processes and procedures, audit support and reporting. This is a varied and challenging role that requires a large element of communication and the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner whilst working in a fast paced environment.

My previous role was centered around delivering customer focused support for a wide range of stakeholders from Financial Services providers to Telco Carriers. Working within a busy colocation data centre in The City of London and operating on the basis of fast execution & quality of service; I was responsible for liaising with internal & external customers and contractors, Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit To Work (PTW), adherence to quality and security processes & procedures, delivery of scheduled & reactive maintenance for customer equipment (Smart Hands), connectivity between customer and carrier (Cross Connect) and Incident Management.

England And Europe

Planning & implementation of data networks for a wide range of high end customers including TATA, Audi, Serco and LOROL. The role involved liaising with project stake holders, costing and managing resources, change control & project governance for the installation of small, medium and large networks consisting of fibre and copper structured cabling, containment and network equipment. Often travelling around the UK and occasionally into Europe, this was a varied and challenging role.
