Having started as labourer pushing wheel barrows and sweeping up. Over the years I picked up all the necessary skills and experience to run my own gang carrying out highway repairs and maintenance. To carry out this role I'm responsible for the health and safety of my work force, measuring and assessing my work to make sure I order the correct type and amount of materials and the right tools and plant machines to complete my work on time and to right standard. Not only am I responsible for my work force but also the public face of the company. This means I regularly have to deal directly with members of the public. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends. This includes taking my dogs on long walks, helping my wife and children look after their pony's and generally keeping fit and healthy.
