I have built the beginnings of my career working with adolescents in Foster Care and now I am pursuing my passion of fitness and education as a PE Teacher. I find passion in watching youth excel in life and transition into adulthood with the necessary skills for them to fulfill their full potential. My ability to interpret the implications that a student needs specific treatment and referrals are part of my skill set. Whether developing effective intervention protocols, evaluating data effectiveness, or conducting educational activities or workshops. I pride myself in always providing equitable and attentive service to students, also dedicating the appropriate time to building an authentic rapport with them . I bring a unique depth and diversity of talent and experience – from collaborating with other disciplines to mentoring, and keeping fidelity to organizational policy. My career is highlighted by consistently paying close attention to evidence based data, child-focused assessments, and network-building. This experience is complemented by exceptional knowledge of cultural diversity and proven success in improving student quality of life. I am particularly adept at assessing student’s needs and then developing a holistic strategy to fulfill them, understanding the necessity of compliance to state/federal laws.
