In my current role I am responsible for providing geotechnical advice for a number of small and large technical projects in the Waikato area. The majority of the work involves: orchestrating complex site investigations; leading earthworks jobs from resource consent through to issuing the geotchnial completion report; foundation assessments and reccomendations for residential and commercial properties; peer reviews; soft soil surcharging and interpretation of settlement monitoring; liquefaction assessments; slope stability assesments and retaining wall design.

A large proportion of the work involves problem solving and adapting to site conditions to keep site works progressing.
