I am currently studying towards becoming a integrative counsellor at Kingston College.I studied various design related modules with the Open University, and gained a Cert HE (Open) in 2012. I am a fully trained chef, with the height of my carrier working at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's as a pastry chef. I moved to Eastbourne where I started my own business by setting up a second hand vinyl record shop and vinyl recycling business which turned vinyl waste into furniture and other products.I now live in Surbiton, London.

We used fresh local ingredients from around the south west area, and would deliver our delicious produce to anywhere in the Bath area from B&Bs to the local park. These were no basic sandwiches and a packets of crisps; we did things like home smoked chicken, duck terrine, vegetable crisps, Pimms jelly and local wines.

We took unwanted vinyl records that would otherwise go to landfill, and turn them in to household objects and other things like jewellery. We were based on the south coast of England and supply our products to retail and consumers direct. I started the company because I hated the fact that so much vinyl record waste headed to landfill, and thought it would be better to design some simple furniture made out of them. I started with only a couple of recycled designs, but it grew to over 20 different vinyl products.

We specialised in jazz and 70’s rock music, but stocked all sorts of vinyl records. Mint Vinyl was for every kind of vinyl fan, from the serious collector who wanted that rare first pressing, to the more casual browser. There was something for everyone, as long as you didn't mind sorting through the 1000's of bargain record boxes.
