Phoenix is a self-funding service; our core mission is to ensure that any one wishing to have counselling can access affordable and accessible counselling at the time of need. Our service is open to all members of the community and welcomes all ages.
Phoenix was established as a Community Interest Company which means that all income and fundraising earned must be used for the benefit of its services. All our fees and fundraising income are assets which locked into the organisation, to be used solely for the benefit of our clients.
All Phoenix Counsellors have individual professional indemnity insurance and will be members of their own professional organisations such the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), National Counselling Society (NCS) or United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP).
