I also perform MTBF, Conducted and Radiated Emissions testing, EFTB/Burst and Surge testing.I was a Global Product Safety Manager at SL Power Electronics Corp. in Ventura CA and was employed there for 27 years until they closed their Ventura CA safety lab and moved all of its functions to Shanghai China.While working there I managed the worldwide product safety laboratory operations and product submittals to the various safety agencies (UL, CSA, TUV, Demko etc.) for SL Power Electronics Corp. I oversaw 2 laboratories: Ventura CA and Shanghai China.SL Power Electronics is a mid sized Medical/ITE-62368-1/LED and custom power supply manufacturer located in Ventura CA.I specialize in low to mid power (2-4000W) medical and ITE-62368-1 and LED switching power supplies. I test and write the report and submit to the agencies. I work mainly with UL/IEC/EN 60950/62368-1 and 60601 (including Risk Management) standards, although I have a working familiarity with UL8750, UL1310, UL1012, UL/EN 60065, and 61010.We spent 2020 upgrading our certification on older ITE products to IEC/EN/UL 62368 which is the replacement for 60950 and 60065.I am familiar with ISO17025, ISO14971 and ISO9000:2008. I spent 6 years in the United States Navy as a Fire Control Technician on NATO Sea Sparrow and Harpoon Missile Systems.Specialties: Safety Agency Liaison, Product Safety Testing to 60601-1 1st and 3rd Ed +A1, 60950-1/62368-1 and UL8750.
