Hey! Welcome to my profile. My name is Daniel Mock and I am a recent Physics & Astronomy graduate from UT Austin interested in a career in machine learning and data analysis. I have several years experience in the field of computational Astrophysics, using large amounts of data collected by world-class telescopes to answer research questions and presenting said research at conferences and meetings to both technical and non-technical audiences. As part of this research I have honed my skills in Python and machine learning techniques, among others. I believe my strong combination of technical and people skills make me a strong candidate for a position as a data scientist or data analyst. I am excited to find opportunities to apply my skill set to all sorts of challenging problems that face us today, particularly in the broadly defined field of data science.
