I’m a Youth & Community Work specialist with over 20 years of experience in the Youth and Community Sector and over 12 years of management experience within NGO’s. I have also worked closely with peak bodies and advisory groups previously chairing the Youth Workers Association and also sitting on the Youth Justice Group Conferencing State-wide Reference Group and Smart Justice for Young People Steering Committee. Until recently, I was the Executive Manager of Client Services at Barwon Youth in Geelong (now BCYF) and was responsible for the overall operations and provision of programs, funded by both government and private sources. My key areas of expertise include Youth Justice, alcohol and other drugs, youth policy, advocacy, youth culture and also ethics. I have facilitated many professional development workshops including workshops on professionalism and ethics with the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria. I now teach in Community Services at RMIT.
