I translate written scripts into energetic comic strips, usually starring young Charlie Pele, the rural Kenyan youth who's known for being a football fan and innovative farmer. In the early days I was part of the initial design and writing teams for the series, helping build out the world and develop the stories.

I participated in Triggerfish Animation's first Story Artist Lab, where we upgraded our skills at visualizing scenes for animated films.

The Know Zone is a children's programme that spun off from the popular soap Makutano Junction. It involved different segments, variety show style, which involved short clips of animation. Of particular focus was the Junction Juniors segment, in which the kids of Makutano Junction had adventures in the neighbourhood, and had animated imaginary sequences.

I taught two modules, Cartoon Drawing and 2d Animation, taking learners through the concepts of design and movement in the rich and expressive medium of 2d animation. I also participated in the designing of a custom Digital Media and Animation syllabus for NIT.
