Thorough knowledge of aircraft, airport facilities, aircraft fueling, ground equipmentoperation and maintenance, quality control of fuels, emergency response to fuel spillsand/or fires. Specialized knowledge of fuel quality control procedures and the use ofspecial instruments and devices used to evaluate the fuels. Participating in and/or supervising providing services to aircraft and customers includingbut not limited to:• Training of new employees and recurrent training of experiences employees.• Response to emergencies, notifications of manager, fire, police, etc.• Maintain sufficient fuel inventory, keep fuel inventory and sales records.• Directing aircraft to the proper parking area and securing aircraft.• Taking fuel and service orders from pilots and/or customers.• Providing the correct fuels and services to the aircraft.• Quality control of fuels when receiving and prior to dispensing the product.• Performing or coordinating maintenance of ground service equipmentincluding fuel trucks, GPU’s, tugs, etc.• Record keeping of daily fuel Q.C. and equipment inspections.• Safely towing, storing, and retrieving aircraft from hangar(s)
