Daniel is an attorney working at a legal aid organization in California. As a director at California Rural Legal Assistance, they support multiple teams tackling problems like tenant justice, medical debt, and record clearing. They were part of CRLA's Medical Legal Partnership for four years before stepping into this new role.Prior to Stanford Law School, Daniel graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in International Relations and Politics. Outside of the classroom, Daniel interned on Capitol Hill and at NBC in NYC, worked on international development projects in Malawi, Qatar, and India, organized in Pittsburgh, PA during the 2012 presidential election, and took on leadership positions within Carnegie Mellon's student life office. After law school and as a law fellow at the Impact Fund, Daniel worked on a variety of legal issues from employment discrimination, impact cases through amicus curiae briefs, and environmental justice.
