I am a highly motivated and hardworking person with excellent interpersonal and technical skills. Having gained an Electronic Engineering Degree (with a year in industry) from the University of York, I developed and expanded my skill set within the functional test software team then joined the firmware team at Abaco Systems. Although my position is predominantly technical, I have also taken on the role of coach/mentor of the university interns assigned to my team, assisting them when necessary, keeping them on track, and ensuring that they get the most out of their internship. I have worked on a large variety of products including; Power-ON built in test, Intelligent Platform Management Interface solutions, UBOOT, as well as working on a flight certified project (DO-178C) requiring a strong attention to detail.Although predominantly using my skills in C at the bare-metal level, I also found opportunities to develop other skills such as using Python to perform in-depth post-processing of vast amounts of data as part of tests.
