Mobile Support Worker
CurrentI am currently a support worker working in Aylesbury but I move to different schemes as part of my job role. I have worked in mental health for over 5 years and worked in care for 7 years. My job role involves devising and implementing care and support plans and risk assessments. I am in charge of the health and safety side of things and PPE ordering. I am organised and I am computer literate I design forms and devise consent letters for the service users in my job role. I have developed a very good therapeutic relationship with the service users and I am learning something new everyday. I worked in secure mental health services for over 3 years helping service users strive to gain access into the community by doing therapies and developing hobbies under the guidance and tutelage of staff. I feel that I have experience and knowledge to eventually move into a management role.
