Daniel O’Sullivan is a senior environmental engineer, project manager, certified environmental practitioner (CEnvP) and licenced asbestos assessor (LAA) with over 10 years’ experience in various environmental settings. Daniel has worked within contaminated land teams throughout QLD, NSW, and WA for a wide variety of clients ranging from major infrastructure companies to regional and local governments.Daniel’s contaminated land experience includes asbestos contamination, environmental compliance auditing, preparation of statutory reports for development approval, waste classification, investigation of potentially contaminated and contaminated sites (soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water) and preparation of due diligence reports with regard to environmental risk. Daniel's contaminated site experience has been under the direction of both suitably qualified persons and approved site auditors for statutory submissions to the Department of Environmental and Science (DES) authority for numerous site investigations including remediation and validation works for Environmental Management Register (EMR) listing, removal, deletion, including statutory site-based management plan (SMP) and remediation action plans (RAP). Daniel has a sound knowledge of the current legislation for contaminated sites.
