I am responsible for the successful management of all store operations, ensuring all key measures/targets are met including (but not exhaustive) sales, contribution, cost, stock loss and mystery shop visits through the management and motivation of the store management and sales team. A key aspect of my role is to ensure consistency and compliance in the execution of company policies and adherence to processes within the store.

Managing all stock control processes to ensure stock file accuracy and availability whilst supporting the Store Manager to deliver the store key performance measures including complying with company led initiatives as well as operational instructions and promotions

Driving sales by maintaining a strong focus on stock availability, visual standards and merchandising, price integrity and POS compliance whilst assisting the Store Manager to deliver the store key performance measures, in particular this included a practical understanding of current retail policies and adherence to processes

I had to deliver excellent merchandising standards within current/new stores, this role included stripping down of current layouts, cleaning displays/equipment, providing the shopfitters with any assistance they may require, merchandising new layouts with or without planagrams, stock replenishment and price labelling, keeping to new store expectations all within set deadlines and timescales. Leading a team of 4 other merchandising staff and any number of current/new store staff into completing the new layout.

To maximize sales by providing a high standard of service to the customer through good product knowledge, effective stock replenishment, presentation and till operation, whilst maintaining a safe working environment. Assisting customers with/actioning any returns or exchanges of goods.
