Main responsibilities: Performs activities that combine analytical skills with adequate knowledge of software and hardware technology, in order to develop, test, implement and modify computer systems containing telecommunication software applications, mobile and fixed.• Development and adaptation of customized software• Implementation of new software solutions and functionalities• Fixing software and hardware deficiencies• Evaluation and optimization of software and hardware performance of information systems Duties and responsibilities:• Development and design of customized software solutions, applications in a defined framework and in accordance with the requirements of telecom operators• Adapting software packages using specific machine code programming languages for equipment in order to stabilize and optimize customers' telecommunications networks• Configuration, integration and optimization of network software parameters according to defined quality criteria, using languages and programming methods specific to telecom applications• Investigating and solving high complexity technical problems received from the 1st Line, COPS, SAC sub-departments using programming languages and methods and "software debugging" specific to telecom applications, providing final remedial solutions.• Testing software packages / applications on the test environment in order to identify and remedy malfunctions, followed by implementation on the production environment.• Emergency remediation by software or hardware reconfiguration of elements in telecom networks by specific telecom programming methods.• Evaluating and optimizing the performance of telecom systems by checking and modifying the software and hardware parameters of the live applications of the operators.• Carrying out periodic preventive checks of the systems using software programs specially developed in order to identify and solve latent software and hardware deficiencies of telecom systems.

• Perform activities related to engineering/analysis of traffic for GSM/UMTS/Data&ISS network.• Translate marketing forecasts into engineering requirements, analyze traffic behavior and trends against forecast on medium and long term basis, provide periodical and ad-hoc traffic reports to management• Provide the necessary input for budgetary process by translating marketing forecasts into engineering requirements for additional network capacity and/or functionality.• Participate and provide the necessary input in the design and engineering activities (optimal configuration and capacity for network elements, optimal network topology).• Continuously analyze Network traffic and performance against forecasted values, known patterns and established Network KPI’s.
