I have spent a decade engineering software across multiple organisations, particularly in automated transportation and FinTech. Over the past five years, I have been actively engaged as a machine learning and explainable AI researcher at the University of Oxford, Carnegie Mellon University, and IBM Research. During my Computer Science PhD study at the University of Oxford, I developed novel interpretable ML techniques for explaining autonomous driving decisions. A prototype of this system was exhibited at one of the largest motorsport festivals in the world (the Goodwood Festival of Speed). In 2022, I co-founded a fintech company (Tilly Intelligence) to provide a better credit assessment infrastructure for micro-finance banks and other African digital lenders. Our startup secured a place in the highly selective South Park Commons Founders Fellowship.I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Robotics Institute, developing novel quantitative metrics for assessing the overall health of autonomous driving agents. I am excited about conducting cutting-edge research and solving challenging technical problems in machine learning, explainable AI, autonomous driving, and human-factors in AI.I am also a musician on the side; I play the piano and a couple of other musical instruments.
