Position: welder/fabricator, supervisor and coach builder. Main duties are working as part of a team manufacturing and developing ultra quiet generators and outside broadcast semi trailers mainly for the film and TV industry. My role within the company is to supervise the building of high quality bespoke vehicle body's to customer requirements and to make sure IVA class and weight specifications are met. Practical skills in Aluminium TIG all positions 1-10mm,Stainless/Carbon steel TIG and MIG all positions 1-20mm. Some Aluminium Synergic 6-10mm,Press break (pro-cam) , Guillotine operation and general sheet metal working to fine tolerances.

Position: welder/fabricator, working in a team of 6 to manufacture acoustic housings for generator sets and general mild steel fabrications where a great deal of high quality Mild Steel MIG welding was required. Including following procedures for welding ISO lifting points which had to be adhered to for matters of safety. also refining techniques for long seam welds to minimise stop starts and potential weak points. Regular use of Press-break, Guillotine and Plasma cutter. (returned by invite to assist in high workload,see below)

Position: welder/fabricator, working in a small team to manufacture mild steel fabrications furthering skills in Mild Steel MIG welding.

Position: welder/fabricator,assembler working in one of the leading acoustic engineering company’s in the UK .Developing skills in Aluminium TIG,Stainless/carbon Steel MMA and some Flux Core Arch (FCAW) welding, my main duties where working in the special shop producing high quality assembles MIG welding 316,304 Stainless steel for offshore acoustic generator enclosures to drawing specification and tolerances. working alongside ex-ship worker welder/platers gave me a wealth of knowledge on a variety of practical welding practices. Working at sound attenuators also introduced me to the importance COSHH and PPE, when using corrosives to pacifying stainless welds. also experience gained in Mild Steel MIG,manipulators and Jig work.

Position: part time trainee welder/fabricator moving on to full time around college hours. Honing basic engineering and welding practices and undertaking general workshop duties,progressing in Mild Steel MIG welding on project experience and using hand tools,such as grinders and drills safely. Also experience in plasma cutting, Press brake,guillotine,oil dampened alligator saw, corner notcher gained.
