We aim to inspire and challenge our students, regardless of academic capability, to achieve the highest standards they are capable of in all that they do.In my role I teach a mixture of Junior and Senior Cycle Maths & PE, assist with boarding duties and responsibilities & deliver extra curricular rugby. As of September 2021, I took responsibility for the introduction of the new Leaving Certificate PE curriculum in the school. My previous experience of delivering theory PE in the UK has aided my planning and delivery of this course including the creation of a detailed 2 year scheme of work.

Physical education and Mathematics teacher of year 7-11 in a mixed school. Multiple exam groups, including GCSE PE theory, as well as facilitating all boys’ extracurricular sports clubs at lunch and after school, including all competitive teams in sports such as football, rugby, basketball, etc.Ramsey Achievement Award Coordinator- My responsibility was to highlight high achievers both academically and in the school community in order to celebrate their success. Interim RSL- For a 6 week period I took on the role of Raising Standards Leader. This is a pastoral role including dealing with serious behavior incidents, managing the academic achievement of a group of approximately 150 students and overseeing interventions put in place for these students.PIXL Edge Coordinator- Lead member of staff for the “PIXL Edge” programme. The programme aims to develop skills useful in the workplace and other areas in students’ life beyond education. My role included administration responsibilities as well as promotion of the programme within the school. In my first year of handling this programme I helped 100 extra students gain accreditation in comparison to the previous year.

First full time employment as a teacher in a mixed working/middle class British school. Teaching Mathematics to 5 different classes of varied ability including two exam groups as well as providing after School revision two days a week. Hugely rewarding experience with a steep and beneficial learning curve.

As a Jameson Brand Ambassador my role was to represent and promote the Jameson brand & provide exceptional service to our guests at the Jameson Experience. My roles included guided tours, reception duties as well as food and drinks service. I thoroughly enjoyed this role especially delivering tours as I felt it played to my strengths.
