This was as part of a dispersed leadership team across an extensive geography (circa 12million) comprising the West Midlands, Thames Valley, Oxfordshire and Wessex regions. The Central and South Genomic Medicine Service Alliance aims to bring together partners to collaborate and co-produce programmes of work that will support the systematic implementation of genomic medicine into ‘mainstream’ NHS delivery. My direct role in this was to enable and lead the writing of a successful provider selection process. In addition I formulated the business plan to deliver against the 7 national priorities, inclusive of the 7 national programmes.
