My projects consisted of the production and study of animal models of human pathologies associated with chromosome 21 genes (Down’s syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, Homocystinuria) and included the generation of different lines of transgenic mice overexpressing the human gene encoding the copper-zinc superoxide dismutase (SOD-1), SOD-1 promoter LacZ mice.
