As a member of the Leadership team, I am responsible for leading, coordinating and collaborating with all department managers to optimize the No Meat Factory food processing operation located in Coldstream, British Columbia. This role develops and implements company programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as excellence in developing operational staff. The Plant Manager sets and ensures high standards for safety and quality for all departmentswhile maintaining production and efficiency excellence. With professional and amicable communication skills, relationships with external stakeholders such as clients and service providers are well maintained. Additionally, this key operational role expertly engages staff getting their buy-in for continuous improvement and change-management as the company grows.

Reported directly to the President, I oversaw Procurement, Production, Logistics, Projects/Implementation, Service, Parts, Facility Maintenance and IT. I also worked closely with our health and safety committee, social event committee and various contractors.

Natures Formulae is a GMP certified natural health manufacturing facility. The team at Natures Formulae are experts at formulating and commercializing products using natural ingredients. As the Operations Manager I reported directly to the President. I was oversaw R&D, QC, QA, Production Planning, Procurement, Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, Equipment Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Production Manufacturing, Production Packaging and was one of the employer representatives of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. I was responsible to ensure that all operational costs were within budget, operational resources were assigned appropriately and operational sales targets were being met.

As the Production Manager I reported directly to the CEO. I was responsible for Equipment Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Production Manufacturing, Production Packaging and was the employer co-chair of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. I ensured that the production and maintenance costs were within budget, the production and maintenance resources were assigned appropriately and the production sales targets were being met.

As the R&D/QA/QC Supervisor I reported directly to the COO. I was responsible for research and development, quality assurance and quality control. I ensured that the R&D/QA/QC costs were within budget, the R&D/QA/QC resources were assigned appropriately and the R&D sales targets were being meeting met.
