I am currently a student in my final year at the University of Hertfordshire, with a current prediction of acheiving a First Class. My course I am studying is Tourism Management. I have 1 year worth of experience in the hospitality industry where I worked as a Night Team Member for Premier Inn alongside my first year studies at University. Whilst working for Premier Inn I picked up numerous skills to aid my future career path within the hospitality and tourism industries. These skills include but are not limited to: A Business knowledge of hospitality, Communication between peers and guests & Computer literacy within Microsoft office and hotel reservations systems.My aims post-studies is to work my way up to a managerial role abroad within the hospitality and tourism industry. Given my goal, I am eager to gain as much experience and knowledge of the respective industries through both work experiences and academic studies.

  • From November 2021- July 2022 at Premier Inn St Albans City Centre• Housed 110+ rooms• On a 32 Hour Contract, Managed alongside my university course• In the St Albans site I worked on admin, bar, reception and occasionally restaurant• From July 2022- September 2022 at Premier Inn Gatwick Airport ( Manor Royal) • Housed 204 rooms• On a 40 Hour contract• In the Manor Royal site I handled a lot more reception work across all hours of my shifts (23:00-07:00)• Lead a team of 2 other night receptionists• Returned between my second and third university year to work the same postion and contract (June 2023- September 2023)
